By using Chess MMR you agree to these terms with Cognitive Squad. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
The service
Chess MMR lets you play rated chess games with friends in private rooms, talk over voice chat and stream games to YouTube. It shares one player profile with the Chess Play & Learn mobile app.
Fair play
- Do not use chess engines, outside assistance or automated tools while playing.
- Do not tamper with the client, the network traffic or another player’s session.
- Do not harass other players over voice chat or in stream content.
Games are validated on our servers. We may adjust ratings, void games or suspend accounts when we detect cheating or abuse.
Premium
Premium is a subscription (₹100 per month or ₹1000 per year, prices include applicable taxes) billed through Razorpay. It renews automatically until cancelled. Cancelling stops the next renewal; access continues to the end of the paid period. See the Refund Policy for refunds.
Streaming
When you connect YouTube, you authorise us to create live broadcasts on your channel when you press Start streaming. You remain responsible for your stream’s content and for complying with YouTube’s terms.
Content and conduct
Handles and banner text must not be offensive, impersonate others or infringe anyone’s rights. We may remove content or accounts that break this rule.
Availability
The service is provided as is. We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted play; a game interrupted by an outage on our side may be voided.
Termination
You may stop using the service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend accounts that break these terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India.
